Privacy and Wallet Storage in the Wondercase Demo

The Wondercase demo operates without a user account, storing your virtual balance directly in your browser. It relies on local storage for wallet data and integrates third-party tools for fonts and traffic counting.

Browser Wallet Storage

Your virtual coin balance is saved in the browser's local storage under the key wondercase_exhibit_wallet_v1. The system stores the balance as an integer representing hundredths of a coin, allowing for precise fractional carry. This data persists across sessions, meaning you can return to the demo and find your balance intact. However, progress during an active drop is not saved; reloading during a game forfeits the pending result.

03

Third-Party Resources and Tracking

The demo interface loads Google Fonts to render text consistently across different devices. Additionally, the site uses Statinside, which includes a counter.js script and a pixel for traffic analysis. These third-party services may perform their own requests or store data independently of the demo's wallet system. Using the demo does not guarantee that these external entities will not collect usage information.

04

Account and Payment Privacy

Accessing the demo requires no login, sign-in, or creation of a user profile. There is no cashier, deposit, or withdrawal process because the coins are virtual and hold no cash value. The demo interface contains no personal-information form; that fact alone does not establish what third-party resources collect. However, the absence of an account does not equal complete anonymity, as browser-based storage and third-party scripts still record activity.

Frequently asked questions

Does the demo save my game progress if I refresh mid-drop?

No. The system debits your stake before the animation begins. If you reload the page during the eight-step drop, you forfeit the unfinished round and do not receive a refund or resume option.

Is my data completely anonymous since there is no account?

Not necessarily. While you do not provide personal details, your wallet balance is stored locally in your browser. Additionally, third-party tools like Statinside may track your session and device information independently.

What happens to my virtual coins if I clear this site’s localStorage?

Clearing your browser's local storage will delete the wallet data stored under the specific key. Your balance will reset to the initial amount of 1,000 coins upon reloading the demo.
